Fleet
Westwind Taxi has a fleet of 5 taxis
- each of which is very well maintained and inspected
on a regular basis. Each taxi undergoes inspection every
6 months by a Government certified mechanic. To ensure
a superior level of safety and customer satisfaction,
Westwind Taxi’s Safety Committee inspects each
taxi every 3 months in addition to
Government inspections.
Every Westwind Taxi is washed and
vacuumed daily to ensure a pleasant journey for our
clients.
We
take great efforts to ensure a safe, enjoyable trip
for our customers in the West Shore Communities.
We accept many kinds of payments, including:
- Cash
- Debit Cards,
- Visa,
- Master Card,
- American Express,
- Diners Club,
- and JBC.
Tariffs
Meter Rates:
- $2.85 for the first 60.92 metres, or fraction thereof.
- $.10 for each additional 60.92 metres, or fraction
thereof.
- $.10 for each 10.18 seconds stopping time, or waiting
time.
Time or Mileage Rates:
- $35.35 for the first hour or fraction thereof,
or $1.65 for each loaded kilometer - whichever is
greater.
- No charge shall be made for extra passengers.
- No driver of a taxi cab shall convey any person,
or persons other than the person, or persons first
engaging the taxi cab.
Note: The carrying of
passengers for separate fares is prohibited.
Note: GST is included in all fares.
